Description:

Bring your family and friends and join us for the memorable experience of Shabbat on the Beach. Once again, we can enjoy the music and camaraderie of the Jewish Center of the Hamptons’ Friday night Shabbat celebration against the backdrop of stunning Main Beach.

JCOHs Shabbat on the Beach evening services will begin Friday, May 28 at 6:00pm, and continue through Labor Day.

Shabbat on the Beach fuses the experience of spending the summer at the beach with traditional Jewish Shabbat rituals. Find your spot in the sand and join the Jewish Center of the Hamptons community in singing, dancing, and celebrating the joys of a magical Shabbat experience.

All are welcome to attend every Friday of the summer at 6:00pm. Challah bread will be available for purchase on the deck of Main Beach.

In order to maintain a safe environment for all attendees, please adhere to the following:
• We will have designated rope circles in the sand to accommodate all of those in your group.
• We ask that you wear a mask upon entering the beach. You may remove your mask once you are in your designated circle.
• Young children who may want to wander should stay the recommended 6 feet apart from other families.
• We are asking participants to download the prayer card to view on your device.

For those of you who are unable to attend Shabbat on the Beach in person, we will be live streaming the event on our Facebook page.

JEWISH CENTER OF THE HAMPTONS: WHO WE ARE
We are the Jewish spiritual and cultural oasis on the East End of Long Island, in Manhattan, and beyond. Rooted in Torah, prayer, and acts of loving kindness, the Jewish Center of the Hamptons shares the joy of the Jewish traditions and deepens our connections to a rich heritage through progressive Jewish values and a diversity of Jewish voices. In our many avenues of learning we seek to bring relevance and meaning to our daily lives. We are a center without walls, connected to Israel, and the Jewish people wherever they might dwell. We welcome each person regardless of gender, sexual orientation, and race, embracing anyone who chooses to join us on our Jewish journey. As a socially conscious congregation, we dedicate ourselves to mitzvot, fulfilling our obligations to God, and to one another. Come find your center, here.
