On November 13th at 7PM on Zoom, please join Karen Orozco Gutierrez of Iowa and Shelter Islander Ann Banks for a conversation exploring their ancestral connection through slavery in Alabama. Donnamarie Barnes, Curator/Archivist of Sylvester Manor Educational Farm, will moderate and also discuss her work uncovering the lives of the enslaved on Shelter Island.
