Sole East Continues the Montauk Summer Series: Dinner with Katie Parla

The Backyard Restaurant at SoléEast Resort is continuing their Montauk Summer Series with a dinner featuring Rome-based food and beverage expert, Katie Parla, on Friday, August 17thfrom 7 to 10 p.m. The evening will include a multi-course dinner featuring dishes from her acclaimed cookbook, Tasting Rome: Fresh Flavors and Forgotten Recipes from an Ancient City, complete with beer and wine pairings. Guests will also receive a free copy of the book. The menu, subject to change, includes:



Cacio e Pepe Suppli’ (Rice Croquettes with Pecorino Romano and Black Pepper)

Cazzimperio (Summer Crudités)

Concia (Fried and Marinated Zucchini)

Assorted Crostini

Summer Vegetable Frittata



Summer Amatriciana or Zucchini Pesto

Pollo alla Romana (Chicken with Tomatoes and Bell Peppers) or Eggplant Parmigiana

Verdure Gratinate al Forno (Baked Peppers, Onions, and Eggplants with Bread Crumbs)

Torta di Ricotta (Sheep’s-Milk Ricotta Cheesecake)
