William Quigley Paintings at Julie Keyes in Sag Harbor
On Saturday, October 10, from 6 to 8 p.m., Keyes Art Gallery at 53 Main Street, Sag Harbor hosts a reception for “William Quigley Paintings,” a new exhibition at the space which is adjacent to The American Hotel. The goal of the exhibition is also to raise awareness of the Rohhad Association which helps patients with Rohhad Syndrome, a rare disorder that causes previously normal healthy children to gain weight and have breathing difficulties, as well as other problems.
Quigley will sign prints and show new works featuring a special Avengers painting honoring Rohhad’s ‘Captain Braveheart,” Aaron Hunter.
“Abstraction is one thing passion is another. Artist William Quigley exhibits both in every single painting he does, and he does both of them perfectly,” notes gallery owner Julie Keyes. “It is very rare to find an artist that can master both sides of the fence this well. We are proud to have the opportunity to exhibit this body of work, As in the sea of abstraction in New York and the Hamptons he does and always will stand out.”
“William Quigley Paintings” remains on view through October 23.
