Bat Talk and Walk
Get into the Halloween spirit with a bat talk and walk led by New York State Parks environmental staff.
The program will start with a short lecture in the Community Room covering the types of bats that live on Long Island, their habits and the valuable role they play in our ecosystem. Around sunset, we will venture onto the trails of the Preserve’s coastal forest to search for bats in their natural habitat. The event is family friendly and all ages are welcome
