In 1892 Dvořák embarked on the journey of a lifetime. He left his hometown of Prague and arrived in a buzzing New York City, where he fell in love with the music of African-Americans and Native-Americans. Come and hear through his own words and music how he was inspired by the music of the “New World,” and how he incorporated these rich musical traditions into some of his greatest works.
