Environmental Workshop for Children
World renown Environmental Artist and educator, Cindy Pease Roe will be exhibiting her Marine debris inspired recycled art pieces at Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum from July 26th through August 4th.
In addition to the installation, artist Cindy Pease Roe will conduct two hands-on Upsculpt workshops for children (ages 8 and up) at the museum from 1-3pm on July 28th and August 4th along with Environmental planner and educator, Rachel Gruzen. UpSculpt workshops give participants a hands-on introduction to the sculpting process with a focus on marine conservation. Cindy will demonstrate basic techniques using marine plastic debris to help you make your own plankton inspired sculpture to take home!
