Friday Night Dialogues
In her new book, Ancestors Through My Eyes: The Story of An American Family – The Ingersolls of Massachusetts, New York and Michigan: 1620 – 1920, Karen Kiaer weaves the stories of eleven generations of Ingersolls and 400 years of history into a compelling and personal family history. Not only did she learn a lot about her family’s past, she also learned how to conduct genealogical research. Ms. Kiaer, who is Chapter Historian for the Shelter Island NSDAR (National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution), will talk about her ancestors and how you might uncover your own family’s story using genealogical tools.
She will sign and sell copies of her book as well.
