Artists-in-Residence have gone on to perform at venues and festivals including the New Museum, Roulette, PS122, American Realness, Clocktower Gallery, Performa, Vienna’s Donaufestival, Kampnagel in Hamburg, CPR – Center for Performance Research, and the Baryshnikov Arts Center.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

John Stintzi is a queer Canadian-American writer, editor, and artist who was raised on a cattle farm in northwestern Ontario—twenty five miles from the Minnesota border. John earned an honors degree in English from the University of Manitoba and an MFA in Creative Writing from Stony Brook Southampton. John currently lives in Kansas City, MO, with their girlfriend, and works remotely for a non-profit in NYC.

Tercer Abstracto is a creative research group founded in 2012 with the objective of investigating diverse scenic strategies for performance and theatre, drawing inspiration from the visual arts. Crossing arts and science, the company brings themes from physics and mathematics to a general audience with a contemporary language aimed at stimulating new perceptions.

Joe Zorrilla (b. 1982) received his MFA from California Institute of the Arts (2012). He has shown at M&B Gallery, Joe Sheftel, and Hannah Hoffman, Los Angeles, and Mount Tremper Arts and West Street Arts in New York. Zorrilla lives and works in Los Angeles.
