JCOH Community Seder
Jewish Center of the Hamptons warmly invites any members of our community, regardless of affiliation or background, to attend our Second Night Community Passover Seder.
Passover is a time when we gather together with family, friends, and community to tell the story and sing the songs of the holiday. It is an opportunity to reflect on how historical issues of social justice and freedom relate to our lives today. The conduit for these stories and conversations is food and ritual.
Jewish Center of the Hamptons will be offering a traditional, family style Seder meal that will include:
APPETIZERS: Gefilte Fish, Chopped Liver Platters and Crudités, Chicken Matzah Ball Soup
DINNER: Brisket and Roast Chicken; Roasted Potatoes and Sweet Potato Kugel, Tzimmes and Broccoli Soufflé
DESSERT: Fresh Fruit, Cookies, Macaroons, Jelly Rings, Marshmallow Twists
Rabbi Joshua Franklin and Cantor/Rabbi Debra Stein will lead the Seder’s blessings, storytelling and songs. The dozens of children in attendance will have an opportunity to search for their own personal “afikomen” (dessert matzoh) and receive a special Passover gift.
COST PER PERSON:
Adult JCOH Members: $95
Adult JCOH Non-Members: $105
Children Ages 5-12: $40
To secure your reservation for the JCOH Pesach Seder, please RSVP on our website at jcoh.org/passover or call the JCOH office at 631-324-9858.
Please note, no one will be denied entrance to our Seder due to financial constraints. You may speak with Rabbi Franklin or Cantor/Rabbi Stein to make special arrangements in confidence.
