NEW YORK’S NEW SEXUAL HARASSMENT LAW IS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 9, 2018 ALL EMPLOYERS ARE COVERED – REGARDLESS OF SIZE ARE YOU READY TO COMPLY?
-Develop and post a sexual harassment policy that includes a complaint form that is available for use by all employees
-Provide annual sexual harassment prevention training to all full-time, part-time and transient employees, even if they work only one day
-Meet all requirements by January 1, 2019 New York has enacted expansive new employment laws that now impact all employers within the state.
Complimentary lunch and learn seminars are being offered to outline the new requirements, as well as other recent changes to New York’s employment and wage and hour laws. Presented by Elizabeth Hook and Laurie Zeligson, two employment law attorneys with more than 25 years of experience each in counseling New York employers, these free seminars will give you the information you need to comply and minimize legal risk to your business. The seminars are geared to business counsel, human resource professionals and business owners. The size of the groups will be relatively small to allow for a more customized presentation and conversation, providing attendees with an opportunity to share ideas and interact with each other. Bring your own lunch and beverages will be provided.
