Rock for Our Rights in the Hamptons
A special concert to benefit Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic (PPHP), Rock for Our Rights in the Hamptons, is taking place on Friday, September 28 at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor. The concert will feature Nona Hendryx (Labelle) and Vernon Reid (Living Colour) and Friends. The opening act will be the Zach Zunis Band. A benefit auction featuring works by more than 20 artists will also take place that evening and in partnership with Paddle8, live to bidders worldwide through September 28.
This event was conceived by 16-year-old Brontë Zunis, a passionate supporter of Planned Parenthood. The art was curated by Pamela Willoughby; Danny Kapilian is the music producer; and Nitchie Zunis is serving as event coordinator. All of the proceeds will benefit PPHP’s health care services, education programs, and advocacy efforts on the East End of Long Island.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. Tickets to the concert range from $75 to $250 and are available at Bay Street Theater’s website. Tickets purchased for $250 include a pre-concert reception and art auction at Tutto il Giorno, owned by Gabby Karan de Felice, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Online bidding for the auction is also live at “More Info”
