What You Always Wanted to Know About Reversing Our Global Climate Emergency Right Here on the South Fork

Program Presenters will include Drawdown East End Co-founders Dorothy Reilly and Krae Van Sickle

This is one of the most important program series SOFO has offered!!

Join us in this the first of three SOFO programs about Project Drawdown, …”a coalition of scholars, scientists, entrepreneurs, and advocates from across the globe that is mapping, measuring, modeling, and communicating about a collective array of substantive solutions to global warming, with the goal of reaching drawdown.”*

Find out what the term drawdown means, how and why the project came to be, what the results are, and most importantly how you can make a difference in reversing global warming.

You’ll earn about the 100 pathways for carbon reduction and carbon sequestration (and find out what the heck carbon sequestration is anyway.) See film clips featuring the best selling book Drawdown – The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming by Paul Hawken.

The team from Drawdown East End will highlight their multifaceted plan of action, offer groups to join, and suggest the opportunities with which you can get involved. This is a free program

Other, not to be missed Drawdown East End programs: Friday, November 15 and Friday, December 6
