Southampton Shores: A Neighborhood in Transition

Begun in 1938, Southampton Shores was a summer colony of modest bungalows that has grown to a community of 234 homes. Many of the original cottages have been expanded or replaced, but examples of the early bungalows may still be seen. RSVP required space is limited to 15. Parking Instructions: Enter at main entrance, Noyac Road, opposite deli. At the first stop sign, turn into Turtle Cove. Park on right side of street. Zach, your guide, will be there. To register call the Southampton Historical Museum at (631) 283-2494 or visit www.southamptonhistory.org
