All the Santa sightings this past weekend on the East End meant plenty of smiling faces, but not everyone was in the true holiday spirit as Santa Clauses were coming to towns.
“If they had two or three more Santas, we could be out of here in half the time.”—Woman waiting, not all that patiently, for her child to see jolly old St. Nick in a certain South Fork town.* Perhaps she could have used that time to brush up on her math skills.
*Name of town withheld on account of not wanting Santa to overwhelm unsaid town with stockings full of coal on Christmas Eve
