There may be some velociraptors roaming through East Hampton soon. Or maybe you’ll see War Horse trotting about the 7-plus acres of land that Steven Spielberg just donated to the Peconic Land Trust for preservation.

The rules of preservation for this plot of land are so stringent that landscaping is not even allowed—and you can forget about ever developing it.

The 7.46 acres are right down the road from Spielberg’s beautiful estate near Georgica Beach in East Hampton. It’s an absolutely gorgeous piece of land.

John Hammond: We’ve made living biological attractions so astounding that they’ll capture the imagination of the entire planet.

That pretty much sums it up when it comes to the natural beauty of the Hamptons.

And by the way, yes, many people to this day still think it was my dad who played John Hammond in Jurassic Park.
