Amagansett's Paul McCartney Has London Calling

Don’t expect to see Sir Paul McCartney around his Amagansett home…at least not on June 4. Sir Paul will be among more than 60 acts selected to play in front of Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert, a celebration of her 60 years on the throne.

Even if the former Beatle hadn’t been put on the bill along with Elton John, Annie Lenox and other music meganames, this would still have been a big day for him—McCartney’s latest album, Kisses on the Bottom, was released, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
