Surf Lodge Settles East Hampton Town Violations for $100k

The new owners of the Surf Lodge have agreed to pay a record setting $100,000 to dismiss all citations and violations that were issued to the club.

One of the major partners of the new owners is a man named Michael Walrath, who has made millions as an Internet entrepreneur.

The 500 citations have been dismissed, and the fine paid to dismiss them is considered to be the largest on record for the Town of East Hampton.
