Four Years Later, North Fork Community Theatre Gets Its Stage

The North Fork Community Theatre announced that their Phase One goal for the “Building on Tradition Campaign” has been reached. The goal was achieved thanks to the generosity of the entire community, and due to a tremendous fundraising effort—$500,000 in funds was raised that will enable them to purchase their theater.

Today is the official closing of the purchase of the theater. Leading members of the group and its supporters will be gathered at 6:30 pm for some light refreshments, at 7:30 p.m. there will be a general meeting.

Congratulations to the group, and especially to Mary Motto Kalich, who is the head of fundraising for NFCT. Somebody get her a cocktail!
