Where In The World Is George Richardson?
George Richardson is still missing. He is 50-years-old, worked as a professional executive at Huntington Hospital and has a family from Dix Hills.
He’s been missing since August 28th after taking a trip to Montauk where he was last seen at the Briney Breezes Motel at 1 in the morning.
The story ends there. He vanished. He’s gone. Nobody knows anything else. There’s been no threats, there has been no contact, there has been nothing.
I’ve speculated in casual conversations that maybe he just skipped town after getting sick and tired of everything, and is living in the Caribbean somewhere, or perhaps something awful happened, like he was swept out to sea after taking a late night swim, or God forbid, he got into a fight and was killed by somebody who had no relationship to him.
It’s just one of the craziest/scariest stories of the Hamptons this year. Police are still following up leads. If anybody sees or knows ANYTHING about this guy, you can call East Hampton Police at 631-537-7575.
