Top 5 Costume Ideas for Halloween in the Hamptons
With Frankenweenie hitting the big screen at the Hamptons International Film Festival today, and with Hotel Transylvania dominating the box office like the Yankees dominated the Red Sox last night, my thoughts are turning to Halloween a little earlier than usual. I’m already thinking about what costume I’m going to wear this year. Below are my Top 5…for now.
1. Captain America: With movies at the forefront right now and a presidential election coming up, I think that this is going to be a hugely popular costume. I just may very well go for it. Love the red, white and blue.
2. Batman: Always a good backup choice. Now, Christian Bale, Michael Keaton, George Clooney, Val Kilmer…who wore the Batsuit best?
3. Michael Jackson: He deserves somebody in the Hamptons to go all out. We’re talking vintage “Thriller” look here.
4: A Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich: This costume was invented by my friend Tim, and he needs to bring it back.
5. Pirate Wench: I’m a fan. Not necessarily on me, of course.
Bonus Pick: Twister costume: Google it—it’s pretty cool. Just be careful if somebody says, “Right hand on green.”
