Home For The Holidays in the Hamptons

Living up to the standards of Martha Stewart can be challenging when it comes to creating a winter wonderland in your home during the holiday season, but the most important thing to consider for any decorating project is to add your own personalized approach.

I recommend that before making any new purchases, take a full inventory of items you already have. I know from personal experience, each year I try to label my holiday items in storage bins and keep them as organized as possible —this makes life so much easier when getting ready the following season. After unpacking your holiday decor, it’s then time to start creating a scenic backdrop with decorative pillows, centerpieces, festive ornaments (depending on what holiday you may be celebrating) and lots of sentimental family holiday heirlooms—family photos, a special platter or set of glasses can really add a little something extra to the spirit of the holidays or winter season.
