The hits keep coming on our Hamptons 100 Songs of Summer Countdown. This pick from across the pond is sure to turn that frown upside down.

Hamptons 100 Songs of Summer #75

“Wild Honey” by U2

Yeah, this song could have you “swinging through the trees, wild honey.”  From the album All That You Can’t Leave Behind (2000), U2 brings a tapping-your-steering-wheel-while-singing-along-to-the-chorus song to the table. This feel good tune’s imagery makes it difficult to not both reminisce on summers past and want to get up and out to enjoy the beautiful weather and Hamptons landscape today.

We all need a happy song every now and then—so what if it comes from an Irish rock and roll band? They have a soft side too, ya’ know.
