Banana Splits: Banana Republic Closes Bridgehampton Store

Banana Republic in Bridgehampton, inside the Bridgehampton Commons shopping center, is closing its doors Tuesday, September 24 at 6 p.m.

According to an employee, the shop is not moving elsewhere—just closing. The men and women’s clothing store is at the same building as the King Kullen grocery store.

The only remaining Banana Republic on the East End is at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead.

Also closing soon is Barrister’s Restaurant in Southampton Village, which will have its last day Sunday, and Tide Runners in Hampton Bays, which is having a farewell bash Saturday.
