Greenport Fire Department Washington's Birthday Parade Is Saturday

The Greenport Fire Department hosts its 169th annual Washington’s Birthday parade this Saturday, February 15.

In addition to a number of East End fire departments that participate, departments come from as far as Upstate New York and Connecticut. Various Southold organizations also participate, such as ROTC.

The parade begins at 1 p.m. near Greenport High School. The procession will head down Front Street then back up South Street.
