Seinfeld Guests on Hamptons-Filmed 'Louie' Episode

A few months back, Louis C.K. was in the Hamptons to film for the fourth season of his FX comedy Louie and the nature of the episode was kept secret—but the episode finally aired on Monday and it was revealed that Hamptonite Jerry Seinfeld was the special guest star.
Seinfeld, who plays himself, asks C.K. to fill in at an event after another comedian dropped out.
“I’m doing a benefit out in East Hampton—you know, Long Island,” Seinfeld says. The venue is the (fictional) Carlyle and the cause is heart disease.
C.K. takes a bus to the East End—perhaps a Hampton Jitney?—and then takes a Hometown Taxi the rest of the way.
Seinfeld failed to mention it was a black tie affair, but he figured C.K. would assume: “Benefit. Hamptons. Come on Louie, it’s in the manual.”
C.K., in his black T-shirt, feels very out of place in the Hamptons.
“Who are all these people?” he asks Seinfeld. “They look like celebrities but I don’t know any of them.”
“These are the billionaires and trillionaires of Hampton Beach,” Seinfeld replies.
After C.K. inevitably bombs at the benefit, the second guest star of the episode, Yvonne Strahovski of Chuck and the final two seasons of Dexter, shows up and they take a ride on Meadow Lane. Things briefly begin to look up for C.K., but then it’s all downhill.
