Dear Edwina

Dear Edwina is coming to the Hamptons! The family musical, which features actors from Stages Children’s Theatre Workshop, will be shown at Pierson High School in Sag Harbor July 25-27.

The musical’s heroine, Edwina Spoonapple, is an advice specialist like a young, singing version of Dear Abby for children. Told through a show-within-a-show format, Edwina and her friends share lessons on everything from trying new foods to making new friends through song and dance.

Dear Edwina features music by Zina Goldrich and lyrics by Marcy Heisler, the award-winning songwriting team behind the family musical Junie B. Jones. Both Goldrich and Heisler were nominated for Drama Desk Awards for their work on Dear Edwina.
