The Southampton Animal Shelter will be holding a Yappy Hour on Saturday, August 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Southampton Village.

Join the shelter for Barkitinis and Yappetizers! The event will feature a dog adopt-a-thon, a 50/50 raffle, music, a training demonstration, and a free beach themed dog costume contest with celebrity judges: an afternoon sure to be fun for the whole family.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at southamptohistoricalmuseum.org or by calling the museum at 631-283-2494. Kids under the age of 14 and dogs can attend for free. All proceeds will benefit the Southampton Historical Museum and the Southampton Animal Shelter.
