Congressman Zeldin to Appear on 'The Kelly File' to Discuss Netanyahu Speech
Lee Zeldin, the U.S. representative for Eastern Long Island, will appear on Fox News Channel tonight, Tuesday, March 3, to talk about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s address to Congress.
Netanyahu delivered his address earlier today. His visit was controversial because he was invited by House Speaker John Boehner rather than the White House or State Department, and many members of Congress boycotted the event.
Zeldin will discuss Netanyahu’s remarks with Megyn Kelly, the host of The Kelly File, which airs live at 9 p.m. and repeats at midnight. Topics will also include the Middle East, “radical Islamic extremism” and presidential negotiations with Iran.
Zeldin, of Shirley, is a co-chair of the House Republican Israel Caucus. In a statement released this afternoon, Zeldin said, “Today’s speech reinforced the United States’ loyalty to our greatest ally Israel during this critical hour. There was no better time for the Prime Minister to address Congress, especially as the Obama administration prepares to make foolish concessions to Iran, as Iran threatens to wipe Israel off the map. I strongly believe that a bad deal with Iran is worse than no deal at all.”
