Friday and Saturday will continue this week’s streak of freezing temperatures, with the windchill Saturday of 5 to 15 degrees, but on Sunday the East End will have a reversal of fortunes.
The high temperature is forecast to be in the low 40s from Sunday through Thursday. Temperatures will slip below freezing overnight, but during the daytime accumulated snow will recede somewhat.
Even better news, there is no snow in the forecast. Skies will be partly sunny or mostly sunny each day.
The first day of spring is tentatively scheduled for March 20.
