Harbes Family Farm & Vineyard, 715 Sound Avenue, Mattituck, is famous for roasted super-sweet corn, a farmers market full of fruits, vegetables, pies and homemade goods as well as a wine tasting bar, an interactive Barnyard Adventure, pick-your-own pumpkin patch, the Robin Hood Corn Maze, and hayrides. Wickham’s Fruit Farm, 28700 Route 25, Cutchogue, is a historic farm, one of the largest on the North Fork, offering a wide variety of the freshest fruits and vegetables. Woodside Orchards, 729 Main Road, Aquebogue, and 116 Manor Lane, Jamesport, has pick-your-own apples at both locations. Jamesport is open for U-Pick weekends and holidays and Aquebogue is open seven days a week 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. You can choose from more than 10 different varieties of apples as they ripen during the months of September and October.
