Head-high/overhead blown out E storm-surf this a.m. But, according to News 12 LI; the winds are forecast to turn N later today, so there’s a chance for some good ones sometime this afternoon/early evening…

N winds 5-10 KT with gusts to 40 KT.

Water Temp: 42° – 46°
Wear a hooded 5/4mm, 7mm boots, and some 5mm gloves, claws or mittens.

Next Chance For Surf:
Offshore winds with residual swell early a.m. Wednesday, onshore wind-slop Thursday, W and then NW winds maybe with some decent waves this Friday if we’re lucky…
