Nacho Figueras Lights Empire State Building
Bridgehampton Polo favorite and romance novel figurehead Nacho Figueras is now playing ambassador of his sport in New York City. In preparation for the 10th anniversary Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Jersey City’s Liberty State Park today (Saturday, June 3), the athlete made the rounds in Manhattan, including a stop to light the Empire State Building in bright yellow, in honor of Veuve Clicquot, on Friday.
Figueras shared the moment proudly on his Instagram account, @nachofigueras, noting in the caption, “Thank you @empirestatebldg for the honor of letting me light up the most iconic building in the world in @veuveclicquot yellow in celebration of the #vcpc10 Polo Classic.”
Another beloved Hamptonite, Neil Patrick Harris, is hosting the big 10th anniversary event on Saturday. Jordan Fisher from the cast of Hamilton will sing the national anthem, and Hamptons visitor Alicia Keys will perform on the field.
