High Style In The Gilded Age

On Thursday, May 28, at 11 AM, the Southampton History Museum will feature “High Style in the Gilded Age,” a live talk with Lily Barney, who is the second of 12 women being featured in the museum’s exhibit.

Four Handed Duets

The Rogers Memorial Library will offer a recorded piano video performance by Olga Vinokur and her 12-year-old son, Dan Gnip, on Sunday, May 31, at 3 PM. They will be performing a selection of works by Gershwin, Chopin, Liszt, and Bernstein.

The library is offering weekly Zoom sessions, called “Breathe Together,” on Tuesdays in June, July, and August at 10 AM. Each week Charyl Ozkaya will lead 20 minutes of deep breathing that can improve your health and outlook.

Also, the library is expanding its Distance Learning Lab and its Did You Know segment in a partnership with LTV in East Hampton. For more information on these events, go to www.myrml.org.

The Wildlife Around Us

Join Wildlife Rescue Center founder Dell Cullum on Wednesday, June 3, at 5 PM, for a virtual talk presented by the Amagansett Library on all the creatures that live around us: the backyard, the beaches, and trails. A question-and-answer session will follow. Register at www.amagansettlibrary.org.
