By All Accounts, David Sedaris Was Hilarious Last Night in Westhampton
I’ve heard from several people now that David Sedaris was absolutely sensational at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center last night. The author had the entire audience in complete hysterics as he told stories that at one point, discussed a woman explaining to him that you can hide the sound of splashing into a toilet by layering the water with toilet paper.
I’m too embarrassed to explain it any further, but it’s hilarious.
David Sedaris is arguably the funniest writer out there. He literally stands on stage, reads his essays and gets everybody laughing. It’s amazing.
The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center will have another concert on October 25 with the bad Gov’t Mule which is described as wildly creative and fearsomely talented.
The Southern rock jam band, led by Allman Brothers Band guitarist/vocalist Warren Haynes, is known for its high-energy grooves and expansive improvisations. Rolling Stone lauded the band for “successfully bringing the classic rock-trio sound of Cream and the Jimi Hendrix Experience into the 21st Century.”
It’s all first class in the fall for WHBPAC, they always impress.
