Beth Stern to Host Paw Star Games
It is the season for Major League cuteness and Southampton’s own Beth Stern will host the Paw Star Game on the Hallmark Channel this month.
As the MLB players are preparing for the All-Star Game on July 14, the major league kittens are soon to do the exact same thing, only cuter.
Stern met with PIX News 11 and expressed the love she has for all things kittens.
“It’s baseball season. And the success of the Hallmark Channels Kitten Bowl, during Super Bowl Sunday, was huge! And we decided the kittens need to play a little baseball,” Stern gushes over the kittens.
Stern is a well-known advocate for all types of animals, but she shows her love for kittens a little bit extra. Especially when her Instagram page is covered with footage of all of the cats and kittens she and her husband Howard Stern are taking care of.
“We had 92 kittens and cats with North Shore Animal League America rounded up…and all 92 have since been adopted!” Stern says.
As lovers of animals, Stern and her husband are contributed to their passion for helping kittens and cats in need and do their best to make a difference.
“My husband and I foster cats and kittens and right now we have a full house. I think we have about 15 cats in our house right now.”
Along with being an advocate for the lives on kittens that she herself can take care of in her own home, Stern is making sure that not only kittens in her care are loved, but also animals that she cannot have her eyes on as well.
“I work with North Shore Animal League America, the world’s largest no-kill shelter, in Port Washington, and I decided to spearhead this expansion where it’s 15,000 square feet cage-free feline habitat… Billy Joel just gave me the proceeds from one of his concerts. We are almost there…and are breaking ground at the beginning of next year. More lives saved,” Stern passionately expresses.
Paw Star Games air on Sunday, July 12, on the Hallmark Channel.
