The USGA announced that Shinnecock Hills in Southampton is playing host to the 2018 US Open golf championship on June 11-17 in 2018.

This will be the fifth US Open hosted by the club as well as the 19th time it will be held in New York. Founded in 1891, Shinnecock Hills was one of the USGA’s first clubs. The present course was designed by William Flynn and opened in 1931. It was the first 18-hole golf course on the East Coast.

There are different tickets available for the various experiences fans can enjoy next year at the weeklong US Open.

A gallery ticket only provides access to the grounds of the club. A Trophy Club ticket allows access to the grounds as well as entry into the Trophy Club, which offers air-conditioned seating and separate restrooms, along with food and beverages for sale. Purchasing an 1895 Club ticket includes access to an all-inclusive tented facility on the grounds of Shinnecock Hills with food and beverages included in the ticket price, as well as separate restrooms and air-conditioned seating.

Junior tickets, for children under the age of 17 cannot be purchased or reserved in advance, but they’re available at will call locations and admission gates every day, even with if other tickets are sold out.

Fans can buy all these tickets as part of weekly ticket packages, which gives access to daily tickets for each day of the week, including a playoff ticket. The other option is the weekly badge, which is one plastic badge that gives access for the entire week, including the playoff.

Tickets will be shipped in May 2018 via the United States Postal Service. Admission gates will open each day from 6 a.m. until the end of the game.

Will call will be available June 7-10 from 10:10 a.m.–6 p.m., and during the week of the US Open from 6 a.m.–7 p.m.
