Christie Brinkley Shares Five Tips for Aging Like a Model

Can you believe that East Ender Christie Brinkley is 63 years old? The stunningly beautiful supermodel is aging, well, beautifully, and there must be a secret to it.

Medical Daily agrees. The website recently spoke with Brinkley about staying healthy, and she gave five tips for aging like a supermodel. Here are some of the highlights.

1. Always wear sunblock. Brinkley notes that skincare is very important and that limiting your damage to harmful rays is key to keeping your skin healthy.

2. Clean up your diet. “Diet will affect the way you look and the way you feel…and the way you feel affects the way you look,” she tells Medical Daily. Brinkley is a vegan and follows a “rainbow diet,” putting different colors onto her plate, including pasta with beans and quinoa.

3. Start early. Brinkley notes that she started protecting daughter Alexa Ray Joel’s skin early on, with SPF and other skincare products.

4. Wash the day away. It might seem like a given, but Brinkley recommends washing your face at the end of the evening before bed, especially if you have been wearing makeup.

5. Adopt a pet. Wait, what? “My pets are like personal trainers,” she says. “They’ll remind you to get outside.” She also notes that pets are “good for your soul.”
