Dress Like an Empress!

Monte & I were recently walking along 57th St. in NYC, on my way to my own trunk show at Bergdorf’s. We saw these windows in the Chanel store and were mesmerized by the creativity. Chanel‘s opulent pre-Fall collection was inspired by the Empress Theodora and the lost culture of Byzantium. Exquisitely jeweled, detailed, encrusted with patchworks, gold lace, bohemian embroidery and knits with metallic touches- the pieces are jaw-droppingly gorgeous, lush and truly artisan. Bravo, Mr. Lagerfield!
