Update: Woman identified as Edith Wright, 52, of Montauk.
Original story: Police are still trying to identify the body of a dead woman who washed ashore at Georgica Beach in East Hampton. The body is a white female approximately 45 to 55 years old.
It was discovered by a bystander at the beach.
