Science Writer In England Blasts Montauk Monster As Nonsense

By David Rattiner

Darren Naish, an English science writer, technical editor and palaeozoologist (affiliated with the University of Southampton, in the United Kingdom) is a little bit peeved that anybody would think that the Montauk Monster is anything else but an animal carcass. The television show “Alien Investigations” aired last night in the UK and Mr. Naish, who appears on the show, wrote on his blog that the Montauk Monster is without question, a dead raccoon. “There is no doubt about this identification whatsoever,” Mr. Naish writes.

The show, which was aired in the United States as well and has been a big hit, features several other carcasses of dead animals that could possibly be from outer-space, with the Montauk Monster being front and center.

Mr. Naish declares on his blog that “Comparatively few people are able to evaluate and identify decomposing raccoons, cats or monkeys – these days, even the majority of qualified biologists know a lot about genetics and perhaps behaviour and ecology, but tend not to be good on anatomy.”

Anybody who says that the Montauk Monster isn’t a terrifying Alien from outer space that is here to study us in an effort to one day kill us all and take all of our natural resources, is obviously, an alien who is in on the evil plot.
