Courtney "Sail" Ross Hits the High Seas

Ross School founder Courtney Sale Ross is leaving educational matters in the hands of her school’s leadership and heading out to sea.

According to a report in The East Hampton Star on Thursday, Ross will be spending much of her time traveling the world aboard her private yacht during the next few years, but she vowed to remain “plugged in and connected” to the goings on at her school’s two campuses. Ross School faculty and staff said checks can be wired to them from Ross‘ yacht and the school’s benefactor would continue to be an important digital presence at the institution through media and technology.

Those interviewed by The Star said they are confident the Ross School would remain stable, or perhaps be even more stable, in Mrs. Ross‘ absence.
