Ross School founder and philanthropist Courtney Sale Ross listed her Georgica Pond compound in East Hampton for $75 million on Friday. The 5.5-acre estate hits the market a short time after Ross announced she would be spending the next couple years at sea, traveling around the world on her yacht and managing her Ross School duties remotely through onboard technology.

Her property, listed by Sotheby’s International Realty, is on East Hampton‘s most prestigious private lane between pond and ocean. It is subdivided into four separate lots with dock and 460 feet of frontage directly on Georgica Pond. It boasts “spectacular sunset water-views” from Ross‘ mint condition 7,500-square-foot main house with pond-side heated pool and terrace, as well as a separate three-bedroom guest house with barn and two vacant building lots with manicured lawn to water’s edge.

Ross‘ notable neighbors include director Steven Spielberg, the family of writer Nora Ephron (who recently died of cancer) and Grey Gardens owners Sally Quinn and Ben Bradlee.
