Hamptons Most Exclusive Wine Club Opens Soon

Houston Rockets owner and billionaire wine enthusiast Leslie Alexander is opening his exclusive new Hamptons wine club Société du Vin on Memorial Day weekend, New York Post reports.
The club will be open to only Alexander‘s wealthiest friends, about 75 in all, for a $50,000 entry fee and about $8,000 in dues each year. For this nominal fee, members will be allowed to store their wine and hang out amongst the “extravagant dark faux leather, wood and stone decor” inside a 6,800-square-foot former potato barn on Butter Lane in Bridgehampton, according to the Post.
About the only other perks the club appears to have are the pleasure of hanging out with other rich people, a catering kitchen, where members can pay a chef to offer pairings to guests, and access to four yearly tasting events with rare and expensive wines, such as a 1945 Petrus, which sells for five figures.
Though clubs like it exist in Los Angeles, Société du Vin will be the first of its kind in the Northeast.
There are a few former potato barns on Butter Lane. Which one do you think houses Société du Vin?
