Gunshots Interrupt Jennifer Lopez Interview in FL

Hamptons resident Jennifer Lopez was in the midst of an interview with Rob Marciano from Entertainment Tonight on Sunday in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida when gunshots were heard in the vicinity. The interview was immediately stopped and Lopez‘s security team quickly rushed her to safety.
While the facts surrounding the gunfire are unknown at the moment, the shots were not related to the interview and Lopez is fine. JLo took time from producing her next music video for “Live It Up,” together with the pop star Pitbull, to give ET the interview, which was temporarily paused after the shots rang out. Both Pitbull and Lopez‘s boyfriend Casper Smart were on scene, but were not being interviewed at the time.
Marciano tweeted that he could hear and see ambulances converging in the area.
The “Live It Up” single is scheduled for release tomorrow, May 8.
