Moe's Southwest Grill Opens in Hampton Bays Thursday

Moe’s Southwest Grill, a fast-food franchise restaurant, is opening its first East End location on Thursday in Hampton Bays.
Moe’s took over the space that was formerly a Blockbuster and briefly a pop-up Halloween store. It is located at 250 West Montauk Highway in the same retail complex as Planet Fitness and Wild by Nature.
The franchise is owned by Hampton Bays natives Guy and Liz Constantopoulos, who also own the Moe’s in Rocky Point and three 7-Eleven convenience stores.
“Moe’s has a growing presence across Long Island and it’s time Hampton Bays residents got a chance to try the delicious food and experience the fun atmosphere of our restaurants,” Liz Constantopoulos said. “Hampton Bays is an in-demand market for which we both have a great deal of affinity.”
The new Hampton Bays Moe’s is 2,700 square feet—it did not use all of the space that Blockbuster had occupied. It seats 60 guests and has more than a dozen employees.
Moe’s got its start in Atlanta in 2000 and has grown to more than 500 restaurants worldwide. The menu includes burritos, quesadillas, chips and salsa, and more Southwest- and Mexican-inspired dishes.
Moe’s in Hampton Bays will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Opening day will include raffles for gift cards and throughout the opening weekend there will be giveaways, according to the Moe’s website.
