Do you remember Hamptons resident Matt Lauer‘s Halloween costume? He dressed up as Pamela Anderson‘s Baywatch character C.J. and it was both mortifying and fascinating.

Today co-anchor Willie Geist was David Hasselhoff’s character and the actual Carmen Electra joined in the fun, reprising her red swimsuit.

Now, Lauer’s costume is back in the news, as his faux slow motion lifeguard run has been picked as Today‘s top GIF of 2013.
