Own 'Secretary of Style' Oleg Cassini's Quiogue Home

If you don’t recognize Oleg Cassini by name, you certainly recognize his work—the outfits worn by fashion icon First Lady Jackie Kennedy.

A Quiogue summer cottage formerly owned by Cassini, who died in 2006, has hit the market for $3.975,000. The Traditional 6-bedroom, 6.5-bath residence sits on 3.8 acres fronting Quantuck Bay, with a private boatslip. The grounds include a pool and tennis court.

Kennedy—who was born in the Hamptons at Southampton Hospital—named Cassini her exclusive couturier in 1961. His A-line and sheath designs, “The Jackie Look,” are still influential in modern fashion.

Cassini’s brother, Igor Cassini, was a society columnist behind the Cholly Knickerbocker column.
