Will Smith, U2 to Be Jimmy Fallon's First 'Tonight Show' Guests

Sagaponack’s Jimmy Fallon has revealed the first guest and first musical guest for his anticipated tenure as host of The Tonight Show.

Will Smith, who has visited Fallon at his current job with Late Night, will join Fallon for his debut episode February 17. Bono and U2 will perform.

The show will be titled, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, rather than “with.” Before Jay Leno, hosts Johnny Carson, Steve Allen and Jack Paar used “starring.”

Fallon is also moving the show back to New York, so he’ll still be frequently visiting his Sagaponack estate and perhaps making some more impromptu performances at Stephen Talkhouse.
