Alec Baldwin Gives a Twitter Shout Out to Mary's Marvelous

Amagansett local Alec Baldwin raised the profile of one of his favorite spots in town Tuesday when he tweeted a link to a Guardian article lamenting the death of traditional pubs as neighborhood gathering places.

“If Mary’s in Amagansett closed, I’d be bummed,” he wrote.

The Mary’s he was referring to was obviously Mary’s Marvelous at 207 Main Street. While it’s not a pub, it is a neighborhood gathering place where you can get breakfast, lunch or baked treats.
